Harrisburg Board Game Day v5.6ish

(the printing was v5.4 but I played with several v5.6 rules)

several folks mentioned the naming of things (scrap, scrapbot, recycle, dismantle, trash all very same-y). noted several people referred to scrap as “money” so maybe call it something like “bits” (can even use ₿). someone mentioned rebooted for going to the discard pile. I think I want to keep trash so really just need a better word for ”remove this card from play and place it in the discard pile”

several players expressed a desire for a player aid

picking up the game was a bit tougher for casual players to pick up than I’d like

new teach working well

too much reading / card text. known issue being addressed in v5.6

woo boy I fell off logging playtests for the 5.x series…

Detour vs Benjy v4.6

(we opted to use the lane effects this game)

(on-the-spot ruling: servoid's "attack" counts toward center lane effect)

(on-the-spot ruling: should resources gain the "boost" effect even when there are no valid targets? my intuition says yes)

suggestion: bots, specifically Servoids, should have more health (it was too easy to clear the board and keep it locked down)

suggestion: bots have a "move" action per turn

CyberSpartan felt very strong (again, Sentinel dominated the game)

Med-pack felt too weak
